Matt, were you ever homeschooled or know anyone who was?

You have just mentioned several cliches which have been consistently disproven over the last 40 years. I know this because I attended all three branches of educational systems. The image of the stereotypical backward, gawky, and socially ignorant homeschool student has been routinely presented by the liberal media in perfect conjunction with the public schools and teacher's unions.

Mom homeschooled me and my brothers for most of our education. I recently discovered that among second graders, I scored in the 94th percentile with only six percent of students in the second grade scoring better or equal to me. The public school wanted to put me into 'special ed'. My parents pulled me out of public school at the end of that year and my younger brother the year after. I have the documentation that was given to her that can verify this claim.
