Sad to say, I still have dial up internet connection too. But, mine does not make that dial up noise for some reason, and I'm glad. It just silently connects.

Phone line connected directly to the computer, right? Yeah, at some point, they figured out that it didn't make any sense to pipe that noise to the speakers.

As I am looking through the list of threads since my last visit I see this one and the one immediately following it was about Firearms. Thought that was pretty funny. Okay I now return you to your normal scheduled program
