Sure, I hear some people say they just don't like talking on the phone. To each their own. Although I haven't ruled it out just yet, I may very well go strictly voice, regardless of the "convenience" of texting. For that matter, you may as well just call me at home, on my land line. After all, cell phones USED to be strictly for emergency purposes only.
Anymore, people chase one another down as if it IS an emergency, only just to carry on a casual conversation...especially while driving.

Ya, our texts are strictly between my wife and I and usually between 100 and 200 total messages a month. Many of them are 1-3 words.
As far as driving, I simply do not answer my phone when I am behind the wheel (or usually even in the passenger seat!).
