I've heard it, "When you're young and single, you're probably a liberal. When you grow up, get married and have kids, you're probably a conservative." (Sorry I don't know who to give credit to here, otherwise I'd give a citation. I'd hate to be accused of plagarism.)
DM, I think most reasonable people understood that I got the stats from a source. I don't think anyone believed the stats about Reaganomics were the result of my brilliant memory. I didn't realize on this forum we have to make citations or reference the source of info we post.
Your take on the Reagan years is interesting. Still can't argue with the facts. The American economy thrived under his leadership. He empowered businesses and business owners by allowing them to keep more of their money. They used the money to grow their industries and expand and hire more people. 21 million jobs. Period. Your unusual interpretation of history is only believed by conspiracy theorists and nut job extreme liberals who cannot bring themselves to acknowledge the historical record.
