there is also a saying that you are conservative until you get arrested, then you become liberal. i actually support conservative social issues and economic liberal issues. i would gladly support ron paul if he had a chance or santorum's blue collar conservatism. its mainly about economics for the working class that i am democrat.

Interesting. I had the opposite "conversion". I was a rabid liberal, union supporting, Democrat, from a family that had never had a Republican in it.
The older I become, the more libertarian I become.
I believe that BHO will be re-elected.
I also believe that this could lead to the breakup of the US as we know it.
BHO has shown that he is not bound by the rule of law, as we know it in the US.
He is determined to engage in class and racial warfare as his main means of maintaining his power base.
His methods remind me of Hitler's and of Chavez.
I hope that I am wrong.
Both about his re-election and what will happen if he is re-elected.
