I said modest and comfortable. Personally, I will never know whether some articles of clothing are comfortable or not because I will never have to be tempted to wear them.
I never said that neither are immodest. However, some people did use the word modesty, and I have never heard anything relating to that undergarment that I would call modest. However, that could just be because of bad press, and if anyone had ever dressed modestly while wearing it, please keep silent and say not a word.
This topic should not even be being discussed on a family friendly website in my opinion, and I should not have even commented on it. For that everyone has my deepest and most abject apologies.

My POV is that I couldn't care less what kind of underwear people wear. That's their business. I don't need--or want--to know.
If you DO wear a thong, though, PLEASE do whatever you need to do to make sure there are no visible "whale tales."

I have the strong sense that in mainstream Pentecost, those in leadership who actually care what women wear underneath there cloths are dying off to the point that there may be almost none left.
