It seems it's ok for some to make the assessment that a person is lost before they die, but once death arrives those same ones start the "God will be the judge" stuff, forgetting that just seconds before they had judged that person lost.

I've just been drawing this out - for a little bit of fun.
I've stated many times that I have no problem saying what I believe it takes to be saved. And I have no problem saying that if a man doesn't do those things it's not ME who says his salvation is at stake. It's the Word of God that says that.
My issue is with those who say ..... "This is what it takes to be saved .... A,B,C, D" or whatever. Then when they're asked the hard questions like you've put to me they dance all around the question trying to avoid giving the hard answer.
And like as has been stated here, funeral messages are often very interesting in this regard as well.
