There's one plan of salvation. God would not design a plan of salvation if man could "willingly or ignorantly bar" the door to it. Man has no power to do that. Salvation is a free gift given to man, you are either determined to see Jesus and you will or you are not determined and you will not. If you want to be saved from sin, he will save you. End of story. The church will always have evil men within it. There were twelve apostles, one of them (Judas) was demon possessed. Using that ratio, I go to a church of 1500, so how many do you think are sitting in those pews? Still doesn't make your salvation any more your responsability. Nobody can block you from salvation. It is yours for the taking. We live in an excuse filled generations, everyone has an excuse as for what "so and so" did. "So and so" will not be there when you see Jesus and give an account before him for the sins you commited. That's all I'm saying.
