In spite of the problems in the church (I admit they do abound) their is no eternal hope outside Christ.
This is a "narrow" non negotiable aspect of the gospel of Jesus.

There is always hope for those who follow with their actions what Jesus taught with his own words to do.
Muslims do not follow the teachings of "peter, paul, and mary" and those teachings do not look anything like the teachings of Jesus. The teachings of Mohammad mirror the teachings of Jesus.

It is viewed as important to us that we pray as Jesus taught to pray and conduct ourselves as Jesus taught to conduct oneself. This would, I believe, be the definition of a door.
