The Republicans haven't been transparent either. You need to study some of the policies that the Republicans have put in place that are causing us to lose our freedoms. Both parties are destroying our country.
And I don't present BO as trustworthy, but he promised healthcare reform, DADT, equal pay for women. Whether we like him or not, these were some of the things he promised his supporters he would accomplish.
Romney stepped into the healthcare issue contradicting himself that the mandate in MA was a fee. Later He flip-flops, in an interview, and called it a tax. So, the reality is that we didn't have a candidate to challenge Obama that made the people trust or feel comfortable.
There isn't any point in crying over spilled milk, it's done.
