Re: This Election Reminds Me

Race was a huge factor. I doubt if Obama was white he would be president.

My hairdresser voted for Obama because she said that eventually there will be a single payer government insurance for those people like her who cannot afford to buy insurance.

Re: This Election Reminds Me

Obama's father was a radical socialist, his grandfather had him mentored by very radical socialist. His mother was a radical socialist, anti-American and Barry is a radical socialist, his policies prove it. But he is an elitist socialist, he wants the power and the money to do exactly what he wants to do. He will leave office in four years and get filthy rich giving radical socialist speeches. Americans are gullible, he has no experience to govern a nation and no ability to lead a government, only the ability to demonize the his opposition. The Chicago political machine financed by George Soros bought themselves a president, he can speak, but he cannot lead. He is just have a great time on the American dole, acting like he really cares about all the masses that worship the idea of a commoner as president. He is not a commoner, he is an elitist. Americans, that voted for him, doesn't know who he is, and doesn't care who he is, he sounds and feels good to them.

I know but they don't seem to acknowledge that.

Re: This Election Reminds Me

The key word was "MEMPHIS "!

Did this have anything to do with Black, used cars, or severance pay?

And now, dear brothers and sisters, one final thing. Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise.
I just had to say that finding that scripture blown up and bolded under that comment was hilariously ironic.

I can't imagine reading this and avoiding what the Republicans did at the Tampa Convention. You could compare it to the Soviet Politburo.

The Convention Rules Committee was pressured by Romney's lawyer, Ben Gingsberg to make dramatic changes to the party's rules on the binding of delegates. The populist and non-Establishment voices and influence were eliminated and silenced. The Minority Report filed opposition to Romney's lawyer, but the report was never delivered because the delegate, with the report, was purposely delayed on a bus and denied entry to the Tampa forum thus allowing Boehner to proceed to call a vote for what Gingsberg wanted done.

Don't give me all of this stuff about Obama, which we already know about, and shove this issue concerning the Republican shenanigans at Convention under the bus. For crying out loud. Is there anyone listening? Is there anyone that cares?

The people on the floor at Convention and even in the party just follow along with whatever the GOP says or does. We vetted the devil out of Obama. Why are we so offended to thoroughly vet our own candidate?

And isn't it ironic that this very forum has been set up to hear dissenting voices against the legalism in the UPCI. Yet, we are accepting of squashing any dissenting voice in the Republican Party because it wasn't our candidate and we don't care? We don't care how we silenced them, just do it and move on. Do we actually understand the repercussion involved in that? It just, absolutely, blows my mind.

We come here and talk about every little mistake a saint or pastor makes, but we won't do that with a political candidate because Fox News gave the okay and he sounds good on the stump. Amazing...

I am taking a break from this forum. I just can't take this for much longer. LOL!

Re: This Election Reminds Me

If Herman Cain had been on the GOP ticket the demographics would not have been much different. People voted the economy as I predicted all along. Our problem is that with Obama voters the economy means something different than with conservatives. Liberals have convinced enough Americans that big government is the answer to our economic woes.
