Re: Why I haven't been here very much lately...

Margie, You might remember that my son adopted his wife's son - cute as a button. I love him!

He is 3-years old now. One problem, that really annoys our son, is that when he wants something or is disappointed he starts to cry. For instance, yesterday my son was playing his drums. The 3-year old looks at his mother, then looks at our son and then starts crying. What he wanted was to play the drums. My son was irritated because he didn't ask if he could play them before he started crying. So, he told him why he was taking his drum sticks away and sent him to his room.

How can we get him to stop crying about everything? I think his mother and other grandmother baby him way too much and they need to step in and stop allowing it.

I don't want to get into the middle of this between them, but I don't want my son to try and make the boy something he is not - like himself.
