So what Barry is asking is not beyond the pail. And Barry is correct in stating that since the church finances were veiled in such secrecy it's not unreasonable to try find out information that should be made freely and openly on the Internet. There have been several members of this church who have found out more on this thread than has been revealed. When people act like they have something to hide, that means they probably have something to hide.
Don't let folks intimidate you off of here Barry.

Seriously there are ways and means of getting information like this to those who have a right to the information. If Barry or any other has a financial stake here, they have recourse. I fully understand the legal requirements.
Internet forums where information sources cannot be verified are not actual sources of information so much as they are the lifeblood of hurt.
If this was about Mr. Black alone then I would be fine with a free-for-all. As painful as it may be for him, he is reaping his own whirlwind.
The problem is this is no longer about Mr. Black. It is about a lot of other people who are innocent bystanders who are now caught in the crossfire.
Not one life has been turned upside down. MANY have been. Maybe our friend Berry is one of them. But forums with 147 pages of rehash do not heal people.
And everything said on the internet is part of your permanent record. It will be here until the sun melts the computer highway. Hurt people often speak out from their pain and anger and those are not good wellsprings for action!
What we say with our mouths most often evaporates into the either. But what we say with the tips of our fingers sticks for all to see into eternity and any reasonable person who reads and knows and can be hurt will be able to identify even the most careful anonymous person.
So my friend you may be mad at me and bluster and call for the berries of the world to “lay on” and all that, but you do no one good. And even in the end, you and all the other berries on the bush will not have assuaged your indignation.
