Re: Sad But True

Would you seriously give your life for a gun?

Do you have a family?

Children will be better off with a gunless parent.

I think he means "Children will be better off with a gunless parent" than a DEAD parent.

In the South where I live for most families it is a way of life to own guns, hunt, target practice, or in my case to have some for home protection and any eventuality should a natural or man made catastrophe take place.
As one of the old timers in this region said, "Everybody slept with their doors unlocked at night because everybody assumes that there are several guns within reach". Nobody dared to invade anybody else's home.

Re: Sad But True

Better to die for the name of Jesus and his teaching than the right to own a gun. The rights that are most important to me are the ones given by him. I was asked to leave a survival forum I was on for 9 years this week merely because I asked what will the new government stand for at the end of CW2. They were very angry over that. They themselves may kill me before the Socialists do!

Well, in this case I hope you give whatever weapons and ammo you DO have to someone who is willing to use it before giving it to the authorities.

No. And I have a dozen neighbors willing to back up my decision. I even have a sheriff (Sheriff Joe!) who will stand by me.
