I would agree that the results of some sins have greater effects than others, i.e. murder and theft. But at the end of the day, all sin separates us from God.
OK, then. All pastors in the entire world are fired!

LOL! So now ALL pastors speed?
I believe breaking the law opens up a level of dishonesty in our hearts. At least I have felt dishonest when I have found myself speeding. Thank God for cruise control. lol
Perhaps when we feel we are not endangering the lives of others, we don't look at speeding as a serious violation, but we view it differently when it's selfish driving, i.e. possibility reckless driving?

No, but I'm pretty sure they all "sin" in some way or another, once in a while. Do you think there are some who have remained 100% sinless since they began pastoring?

No, and I doubt any of us, including you and me, have either. Those three fingers pointing back are always a booger.

I strive toward perfection, knowing that I won't attain it. But I'm not a pastor.
You're the one that wants all sins to be equal. Do you think a pastor who (hypothetically speaking!) molests a child should be fired? How about one who once parked, only for a minute, in a red zone?

My point on sin would be anything that separates us from God.
I seriously doubt double parking, parking in a fire lane or speeding is going to do that. However, I do believe we should obey the law just for the fact that, IMO, it helps to keep us honest, IMO.

Nice dodge.

Again, I don't believe that speeding separates us from God. But, in principle, it does help to keep our mind toward being honest in other areas, so I try to obey that law and generally do.
