Yep. From Strong's:
modest - orderly; decorous; of good behavior; well arranged; seemly
I Timothy 2:9
"In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety; not with broided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array;"
Also of interest:
apparel - a deposit, i. e. (specially) costume: — apparel; a lowering, letting down a garment let down, dress, attire

I would not go to a church where they dressed imodest (didn't follow holiness standards) or they dress sloppy for church. I wasn't raised that way. I dress better to go to walmart than some do to go to God's house and that is a shame.

Sorry, I had to stop reading and comment on this one. Let me tell you a story followingJesus: When I was younger I used to attend a couple churches in my town for revivals and such, and I attended a local church a lot and they had a old gentle man that came there, He had came there since the doors opened, He was one of the founding members. He had served as a deacon and even taught sunday school for several years, He had been a member for I know at least 30 or 40 years.
He was retired, he spent his time in his garden, he worked in it everyday, he used what he needed and brought what he didnt need to people at church and gave it to poor neighbors. Well, He would work til church time and then come to church, he never missed a service unless he was very sick. Well one time during a revival he got to church about 10 mins before service, he brought his produce to give away and he of course had just left his garden, so he was not well dressed and he had some dirt on his shoes.
Some of the new sisters in the church saw the dirt and shamed him for tracking a bit on the floor. The man NEVER stepped a foot into a church again because of that one comment, it hurt him sooooo bad, and Now I want to ask, If his relationship with the Lord was affected by that and he backslid, WHO'S hands is the BLOOD on??
