There are a lot of good people in thus world who live a good life. But there goodness will not save them .. How much better to have the fruits and salvation.

I did not post anything about "good people".

I am talking about people who have received the Holy Spirit and radiate the fruits of that Holy Spirit from God.

I believe that there are a few people who are in this world who are living righteous unto God, who show forth these fruits, even though they don't know the true gospel...but then again, for a lot of others that I've seen, these scriptures do come to mind...Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof...(2Tim 3:5) And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light...it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness (2Cor 11:14) Mystery of iniquity...(2Thes 2:7).

Also keep in mind that there are also Atheist who are showing forth these fruits and others, who are often loving, charitable, giving, meek, temperate, helpful of their neighbors, do good unto others etc., that doesn't mean that they are saved now...

Was raised Missionary Baptist, but then as an adult on my own tried the non-denominational route for awhile (looking for a little more freedom of worship, I think). These churches were "pastored" by folks with UPC/ Pentecostal backgrounds but were looking to establish bigger congregations via less legalism, etc. But there was a serious lack of "accountability" and tons of nepotism (as in "only MY family (pastor's) is annointed enough to be leadership in THIS church!! Now am in a small Southern Baptist church. Have taken responsibility for MY OWN religion. Have decided it is NOT about the name over the door, but IS about your relationship with the LORD.
