1st... The word Rapture doesn't appear in the Bible anywhere.

2nd... The Aposles expected the coming of The Lord in their lifetime and I don't believe they were mistaken. Nor do I think the coming of The Lord was a Rapture that they were looking for.

Pay very close attention to what these verses are saying -

2 Thessalonians 2:1-4

Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him, That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand. Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.

Take note that it is clearly saying that "that day" shall not come till some point in time AFTER the Antichrist enters the rebuilt temple and proclaims to be God.

(what is "that day" ? - it is in verse one, the day of "our gathering together unto him" - also known as the "rapture")

.......so these verses clearly prove that the "rapture can NOT possibly be pre-trib, and there are other verses that show a post-trib "rapture".

Paul, and Silvanus, and Timotheus, unto the church of the Thessalonians in God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ:

Clearly 2 Thes. Was written to the church of the Thessaionians. The temple in Jersulam was still standing when they received this letter. They understood this was to happen in that existing temple. The future temple is our Bodies. That's where Christ lives now.

One day with us can be 1,000 with God.

Our time and His is not the same.

Main thing is be ready for he may call "you" home anytime.

I do not believe in pretri personally. However, to me it is not a salvational issue unless, someone preaches pre and someone finds themselves in tribulation in confusion.

So Christ was not living in the Apostles then?

Yes he was. But the temple of old that was the place of God was still standing.

18 Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body.
19 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?
20 For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.

2 Cor 6
15 And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?
16 And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.

Paul said "We are the temple of the living God" while the OLD TEMPLE was still standing...

Please re-read my post. I didn't say God was still in the old temple.
