I agree that He was tempted in all points as a man. Therefore, He does sympathize with our weaknesses.
The scripture still stands that He did not need anyone to "testify/witness" what was in man, he knew what was in man. How? "All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made." John 1:3
I still contend that you must be deceived in order to sin, and Jesus could not be deceived. That doesn't mean He would not be tempted nor challenged.
He was baptized of John in order to "fulfill all righteousness", he was also tempted like as we - yet without sin. Why? Because He was perfect, the lamb slain from the foundation of the world, chosen to be the High Priest - it was not possible that He could sin. It was only possible that he would be challenged, which He was by Satan and even by the Pharisees. That continues to be my view.

If I am tempted with something that I can not give into is it really a temptation? Somethings we won't know on this side of Heaven.
In your opinion was was Christ Baptized since you brought up the subject.
