I would not approve of a gay pastor at all! I understand the gay struggle, but a position of pastor is a little much. Maybe this congregation Is rightfully concerned about association with such a church.

The snake handlers are merely taking scriptures out of context in their ignorance. They are sincere, as is the gay pastor. The difference is that the snake handlers are considered crazy, but the gay pastor is considered an abomination. There is more disdain in the Christian community for the gay pastor.
