I only watched up to Sodom being destroyed. I thought the story line moved too fast, was embellished, and poorly presented. Not true to the text, and I was bored by it. Had so much potential, what a waste, but I can't say I had high hopes for an accurate presentation of the scripture on History channel.

Why was anyone expecting anything resembling truth from the History channel or Hollywood?
I do not understand why everyone seems to flock to these things, say that they were not deep, inaccurate, not faithful to Scripture, as if they expected anything different. My remaining question is this, If 'Christian' movies, Hollywood presentations, etc. have proven time and again to be flaky phonies, why do you continue to support them? Are they not then engaging in lying to people about Scripture? Does not Revelation condemn all who love or make a lie to the lake of fire?

Oh good grief.
Part one was great. The only thing that bothered me was that they left out the entire homosexual aspect of Sodom, instead making it appear they wanted to kill the angels instead of rape them. Lot never offered his daughters. I didn't like it, but I understand the omission. The "gay mafia" would shut History channel down if they allowed the movie to actually condemn homsexuality. The angels were right out of "300" so that was pretty cool.
I suspect that since the movie wasn't a long drawn out attempt at visualizing Oneness Pentecostal theology that is why some here are saying it was too "kindergarten" for their liking.

Honestly, would anyone watch if they devoted two (or four or six) hours to the book of Leviticus? One can only imagine the special effects and high drama possibilities! LOL

One thing that bothered me, but I admit, I am not sure the context.
The part about Abraham and Sarah just made her look like a compete jerk/jealous harpie.
It didnt give any context to Abaham forcing the issue by having a child in a way that was outside what God wanted. I may have missed that but I am not sure.
can someone clear up that point?
