See you guys are so hung up on what you percieve as legalism that you can't even see the need of children being raised where is the question is asked "What shall we do?" that the answer is the same.
By the way their are multitudes of folks who do not find living right a burden to them.

Your thinking is so skewed, it isn't even funny.
You are so hung up on what you think is "right living" that you just keep saying the same stuff over and over again, like a hamster running on a treadmill.
"Right living" is never a burden. But what you interpret to mean "right living" does not make it so.

Bro. Epley, they couldn't do enough to be saved according to what you believe. Even if they fulfilled all 3 steps, they'd still trim their hair (it'd still be long, but we all know 1/8 of an inch can send you to hell), and in general live life with the Holy Ghost leading them, not the dos and donts of legalism. Face it Bro. Epley, if your correct nobody's going.

"Legalism is any practice or belief that is added to the gospel that compromises the sufficiency of Christ as Savior and jeopardizes the adequacy of the Spirit in moral guidance. Secondarily, then, legalism demands that one adopt a group’s special markers in order to be fully acceptable to God." - Scot McKnight

Spoken like a true Pharisee.
Jesus spoke this to the self-righteous Pharisees:
Matt. 15:9 "But in vain do they worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men."
The traditions and commandments have changed... but the principle has not. Putting more emphasis on an outward tradition than the condition of the heart was something Jesus dealt with over, and over with the Pharisees.

Bro. Epley, do you know what I preached yesterday? Acts 2:23-41. The Bible isn't the problem. The answer is still the same. The command is 2-fold, repent and be baptized. The Holy Ghost is both a gift and a promise, not something to check off the list.
Most conservative Christians don't have any problems with Acts 2:37-38. The ones I've been in contact with don't even have a problem with water baptism in Jesus name. The problem is your new fangled interpretation which tries to force a square peg (tongues) into a round hole. Acts 2:41 is plain that the people who believed Peter were baptized, and thus added to the church. Your whole interpretation is flawed, but your too proud to acknowledge it after all these years.

Act 16:30 And brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved? Act 16:31 And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.
Yep, the answer is always the same. But that's not the answer you're looking for, is it?
Oh...and a 'church' teaching a perverted gospel which results in men, women and children dying for lack of medical attention ain't the definition of "living right" is it?

I humbly submit, that if the above is Truth, then the followers of Paul are damned by their legalism... for Paul was a legalist.

Ferd I submit to you that the Book of Galatians was written to the Church from Paul warning them about legalism.
Paul taught justification by faith and not to add anything to the Cross towards Salvation.
He went as far as to say that if you live by the Law and you break one law you are guilty of breaking all the the law.
