Re: He is Still Oneness Pentecostal In Heart

We have forgotten how HOLY God truly is. If God so much as materialized on earth in all His power and glory without a robe of human flesh, all of creation would spontaniously combust. Every atom in heaven and earth would flee in terror from His presence. The rocks would cry out weeping for mercy. They are wiser that we. Yet God, in His grace and mercy, came to us as the holy healer who walked the desert sands of Palestine. The healer was brutally beaten... the hands that healed were pierced by nails. There, outside of the city He hung on a cross... for you. All for you... and we have the arrogant audacity to malign the very essence of His grace? Oh that we were as wise as the rocks!!!

We have no idea how many times angels have stood, hands on the very hilts of their swords ready to annihilate us... yet God stays their hand and says, "Patience... patience." In disbelief the angels say, "Holy One, do you not see their vile, sinful, detestible wickedness???!!!" And as a tear rolls down His HOLY face He answers...

"But I love them. They are my children. May their shame, guilt, punishment, and damanation be upon me. May my cross and suffering be counted as their own. While they were yet sinners... I loved them... and I died for them. They are... my children."

And we dare insult the Spirit of Grace???

Oh that we would take Paul's words as the most serious warnings of all Scripture...
Galatians 5:4
King James Version (KJV)
4 Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace.
If ANY law or tradition is seen as being able to justify you in God's sight... YOU'VE FALLEN FROM GRACE. CONDEMNED WHERE YOU STAND. WITHOUT GRACE... WE GET WHAT WE DESERVE!!!

And WHO would EVER want that???

Only one so blind to their own sin and vile condition that they actually think that they can impress God with their pathetic, diseased, and superficially pious religiosity. In loosing sight of God's HOLINESS... we've lost sight of our own sinfulness. Only from the position of the most desperate of sinful, vile, wretched can we truly appreciate God's Holiness... and His grace and love towards us.

Without grace... we might as well all go home and "live it up". Because we're absolutely doomed. Ah... but praise Him for His love and grace. Because it is through His grace that He brings true glory to Himself. All of creation was poised to watch God destroy everything when man fell... but when God demonstrated GRACE... He revealed His LOVE. And in this He receives all glory, honor, and praise.

Without grace... it's all in vain.

You may be a grace filled man and you may even extend grace to all that come your way but what if the truth that you teach is not the complete truth ?

Your correct I have judged you when I don't know you but when you start talking about another Brother in Christ is not preaching the truth, when in fact he is preaching Christ and Him crucified. You yourself have judged another mans servant.

Thank you for the advice about hermeneutics and I will study.
Just to help you understand scripture so you can use it in the right context... The strongest rebuke was to the religious leaders for what they did NOT do. In fact Jesus said to do as they preach but don't do as they do cause they aren't living the message. They were condemned cause they were hypocrites and carnal and wanted a reward here on earth.

Matthew 23:3
King James Version (KJV)
3 All therefore whatsoever they bid you observe, that observe and do; but do not ye after their works: for they say, and do not.

In context... they'd bid you not to eat pork or anything else unclean. In context... they'd demand you be ritually cleansed from laying in the same bed as your wife when she was on her menses. In context... they'd bid you to observe the Sabbath and over 300 other laws.

This was Jesus speaking... UNDER THE LAW to people living UNDER THE LAW. Context... context.

We can't pluck a verse or teaching prior to the cross and impose it upon ourselves in this covenantal dispensation. We are called to be something far greater than anything provided by any form of law... we are called to be conformed into the image and likeness of Jesus. We are called to love God with all our hearts and to demonstrate that love by loving our neighbor as ourselves... in spite of what any law might say. It is through this love that we bear fruit. And that fruit, as it grows, is our sanctification... for as it grows... we become like Him who broke their traditions and expanded the law beyond their legalism.

Let us truly meditate and be humbled by the words of this old hymn...

Thou must save... and thou alone.

Wash me Saviour or I die.

We think too highly of ourselves. And as a result... we think too lowly of God... and of His holiness.

I'm not the one that needs a bible study it's the goat that does. He was trying to use that scripture to nail a outward holiness preacher and it doesn't work with that scripture.... Or any other scripture

If we who profess to be "holiness" truly understood GOD'S HOLINESS... we'd cling to the doctrine of GRACE like it was our very breath.
