No. Not in the sense that they mean it.
Now, true holiness of a heart being conformed into the image of Jesus will love God and their neighbour. Such love will drive all that we do. We will be cautious with how we dress and behave. But it is because of God's grace... not to earn it. And it will be led by the Spirit... not led by some rule in a dusty book of church bylaws condemning red pantyhose, purple neck ties, t-shirts, beards, or open toed sandles.
Not even Jesus Himself could get licensed in these fellowships... and they think He's in what they do??? LOL! No sir!!!
Remember... there is a demonic "spirit of religion" that seeks to bring believers into bondage. And it has been working overtime with Apostolic Pentecostals.
People are being conformed into the image of their pastors, churches, and organizations... not Christ's. Woe to us! Imagine getting to Heaven and Jesus saying, "Oh, you were a mighty fine Pentecostal! Look at all the standards you lived by..." He begins listing them and so we puff our chest out with religious pride. And He then stops and says, "But... I'm NOT a Pentecostal."
If it doesn't conform you into the image and likeness of Jesus... what image is it conforming you into? Ah... the subtle seduction of... idolatry...
