Been reading a lot about CC from Michelle Malkin. She and others have been pounding away at CC, trying to wake people up. The frustrating thing is, it's not just in the public schools. Charter schools and even sever home school curriculum have included CC. Texas is one state that refused to participate in CC, yet it still crept in through charter school curriculum.
I was discussing this with one of my friends here in AZ, and she mentioned CC was one reason she put her young daughter into a charter school. When I mentioned the issue with TX charters, she didn't believe me. Then I visited the website for her school and found out, surprise!, the charter school her daughter is in uses CC curriculum.
I like what he said about morality - not an exact quote, but close:
"Morality is having the character to do what you should do instead of what you have the freedom to do. Freedom without morality will cause self-destruction."
That's a pretty good description of what is happening in American right now.

Well, I try to avoid listening to Michelle Malkin, who is just annoying to me (lol), but have read about CC elsewhere. She goes too far thinking everyone is wrong but her Libertarian views.
And, yes, it does reach further than public school. Saxon and Math U See are involved, two programs we used while homsechooling. I've already contacted them with the information, as have others.

I don't listen to her show, but I follow her, Dana Loesch and others on twitter. I saw numerous posts from her about CC and read several articles she wrote on her website about it. She had some good information. I don't listen to Glenn Beck either, but he's got some articles on it as well.
Wasn't too happy to find out that AZ's Gov Brewer signed a bill to implement CC.

I agree, I do follow them on Twitter, but I don't listen to their shows. Although, I would probably tend to be more interested in Dana than the others.
The Liberal left has an extremely intelligent presentation and they present it in such a way as to make you feel very uninformed and uneducated if you don't submit to their agenda. I believe all of this is very deceptive. If you word things just right, people will be made to believe you, even when you are lying. It's all in the presentation.

I watched the last 45 minutes or so of The Masters golf tournament, and Exxon Mobile had an ad that ran probably 10 times in that time period, pushing CC. It was a great ad. To the uninformed, who could argue against what the ad was saying.

Exactly, David! And when you put "education" in front of a parent, they want it!
