Re: School assembly with guys in skirts!
I would imagine a bunch of men dressed as women pretending to be dressed as men would be DOUBLE bad.

I think there is a difference between doing it as a joke and doing it for real. The only concern is, as KBTW said, is breaking down barriers. But then, being funny does often push boundaries.

Re: School assembly with guys in skirts!
I guess the issue with me touched a nerve as my kids have been coming home almost every day telling me about gay/lesbian behavior going on openly in the school.
Then, we all know how much the gay marriage rights issue is being pushed on every level.
I've wrestled with how I should have handled the situation... on one hand, perhaps I should have stayed home, and not meddled in the situation, but on the other hand, I felt as though I needed to know the details, and be informed about what exactly is taking place at the high school my kids attend.
One thing good did come out of this. I did have a very long talk with both my children about this issue and they understand the underlying issue here basically is to blur the distinction of the sexes, and eventually for everyone to accept gay/lesbian behavior as normal and acceptable, thereby setting the stage eventually for gay marriage to be the accepted norm.
I gave them this example ... we are like frogs being dumped into a huge pot of cold water, and the temperature is slowly being raised until it gets to such a degree that we will have become so numb to what is going on around us that we won't realize our very life is at stake, until it is too late to do anything about it.

There is so much stuff that goes on in schools. I don't know what I would do if my kids were school aged now. I haven't had to think about that for a while. It's a tough thing.

For the Love of mercy, I wish "christian" parents would STOP sending their children to public school if they are so afraid that some non existent "agenda" will be pushed on their children. If you worry about it so much, for Heavens sake, HOME SCHOOL them or send them to a "christian" school that shares your views.

Problem is they already pay high taxes to send every elses kids to public schools to learn about sodomy, oral sex, transgender/homosexuality, condoms, various sex toys and other important educational issues and can't afford the high cost of private schools or for a parent to stay home and not work to home school....isn't that part of it? We PAY for that junk so Christian or not why should they be concerned?

Re: School assembly with guys in skirts!
I'm wondering why does it even matter? People say that women can wear pants, and that they're not man's attire, so why would it be wrong for men to wear dresses, if it's not "women's attire"? If this trend becomes normal, and they start making dresses for men, what's wrong with it? Not every man that wants or desires to wear dresses is trying to push some kind of "gay agenda". Maybe they just want to wear it them, because it's more comfortable than their pants.
I remember that there was a similar such outcry back then in America, when women starting wearing pants, and now it's normal. If culture, society and history dictates what we can or can't wear, then there really shouldn't be any anger or what have you regarding this issue...

Yes, we are paying taxes for our children's education, we should have a say in what they are being taught. We should not be forced to take our children out of schools that we are paying taxes to in order to ensure they have a decent education, yet, that is exactly what is happening.

Yes, I agree with you on this. Where will all this "gender blurring" end? With it being okay in about 10-15 years for men to walk around in skirts, high heels, pantyhose, and makeup? Men buying these things in the men's department? Is such a thing around the corner for the next generation?
