So funny... our church preached against TV strongly... so we threw all 4 of ours out. Several years later we found out we were one of the only families that did not have a TV
... We still don't, even though we are no longer UPC... We just decided that we liked our lives better without one... Actually living it instead of watching someone else live theirs in a box but I don't see anything wrong with anyone who wants one having one if they've got time to watch it. I know as my aged mother was less able to get out her TV brought her a lot of comfort.
