I Need Funny Stories About Children in Church

I have been contacted by a publishing company to write an impulse type book about funny stories of what kids thought the words to church songs were, and also what they thought they heard the preacher say! Your response on this thread could be part of the book!

Here are three stories as examples:

1. My grandson came home from his Sunday School class singing, "Father Raise-your-hand Had Many Sons"

2. A young kid in our church was overheard singing, "I am Afraid of God, He calls me Fred"

3. The pastor was in the middle of his sermon saying, "You can be free! Turn to your neighbor and say, "I'm free! I'm Free!" Our 2 year old grandaughter spoke up and asked her grandmother, "Are you free?" "Yes, honey, I'm free", replied the grandmother. The child responded, "I'm two, I'll be free soon!"

You might want to include the "correct" lyrics. E.g., I have no idea what the original was for #2.

Here's one from my own kids. It's not a song, though, so take it or leave it. My son was around 3 or 4, reciting the Lord's Prayer. It started out "Our Father, who aren't in heaven, ..." Oddly enough, he wasn't one that left the faith years later!
