I personally believe maybe there should be some amount of punishment for his accountability to that. I've made plenty of errors in judgment that caused a confrontation. Thank God I'm not sitting behind bars for that!
The jury voted that GZ was not guilty of the charges that the state presented. My thoughts and prayers go with the parents of both TM and GZ. The Martins are having to come to grips with not only losing their son, but watching his killer walk free. The Zimmermans now have to live their lives in fear of death threats just because they are GZ's parents. There is no winner here!

He wasn't charged with "error in judgment that led to a confrontation", and as far as I know they didn't charge him because it's not a "law" he broke.
He did not "cause" a physical confrontation. That's like saying a woman caused a man to rape her because of how she dressed. It was within TM's ability to NOT sucker punch GZ. In fact it was within TM's ability to keep on walking home and or call the police.
He chose a physical, violent confrontation with the "cracker" that was following him.
It's sad but that is what happened. Don't like the fact that GZ got out of his truck? Yeah, that's one thing and I'd probably agree too but that is not justification for TM to come back and confront GZ then sucker punch him.
BTW does anyone understand the reason GZ got out was he lost sight of TM? He wasn't "chasing him down on foot"
I agree "no winner here"
