Re: How to Save Money
Does anyone have any figures on the cost of keeping a family cow, instead of buying raw milk. Of course we could also have, butter, buttermilk, cheese (I've never made any) ice cream and cream, instead of buying these at the store.
I buy raw milk which is pretty expensive. The raw milk doesn't have much cream on it.

Don't buy "raw" milk and save $$$!
Better yet, don't buy milk (yuck!) period!
I wait to major holidays when Coke products go on sale. Either three 12 packs for 8-9 bucks or four for 10. Then I stock up!

Sounds like a lot of work to have some milk, cheese, butter, and ice cream...

I have been craving milk a whole lot lately. I drank half a gallon this afternoon.

I don't know. Of course keeping a cow would take quite a bit of time. I wouldn't care to do it. I would rather buy it from someone else.
Anyone?

Me thinks it would be easier to just create and distil your own unique brand of bourbon.

I don't know about bourbon, but a little wine in moderation would be a lot better for you than coke. Coke is a disgrace to the American public.

Re: How to Save Money
I have had sinus problems most of my life, when I started to buy raw milk I was warned by family members that the milk would make it worse.
Guess what? My sinus's have been a lot better since I've been drinking this milk.
There has been a lot of research, and many Dr's do warn against milk for adults, however, I bet they did the research with pasturized milk, which they have proved, is bad for you.
