It is a mushroom but looks kind of like chicken when cooked. It is SO good!
Night before last, we had corned venison (hunted by my husband, corned by me) mashed potatoes from the field, and puff ball mushrooms from the woods mixed with okra from the garden. Sorry I didn't get a chance to take pics.
