Hats off to every person that "trusts God" for anything, but if you gonna preach "trust God TOTALLY", then no eye glasses or no going to the bank for a loan.

I can see the difference between eye glasses and invasive procedures...

So you are agreeing we should preach its a sin to go to Doctors?

BTW I never buy the "just sayin" thing. Everyone has a reason or agenda

I guess I wonder how someone could take a middle of the road approach without it being misconstrued into a no doctor's or hell doctrine by some, even if it wasn't taught that way. Of course, if it is taught that way that is a definite problem. I don't believe it is a sin to go to a doctor nor do I believe it is a sin to not go if you feel that is what you should do.

Ok...what did the birth control statement have to do with all that? I don't understand...

Well, I just think it is weird the way that Christians ignore that birth control can cause spontaneous abortions. I never knew that the whole time I took them (3 years). Even though I was in the church at the time, I never heard anything about that. So, although I have a serious issue with people who teach things like no doctors or hell doctrines because it can harm children if the church and parents aren't very wise, some of the people condemning those who may harm children because of these doctrines will use birth control pills. I am not defending ultra-cons for extremist views...just playing a bit of devil's advocate, because I do not see anything wrong with believing that the natural route can be best sometimes and should be used probably more often than the mainstream culture teaches. On the flip-side, making it salvational is problematic.

I see. I hope children suffering and dying needlessly does not get minimized so we can discuss whether or not the pill kills unborn children.
