Do you feel like this when you find out one of your main rivals was busted for smoking weed?
Um, people still get busted for that?

Do you feel like this sitting in your pew while listening to a strong holiness sermon? (And realizing that your not guilty of breaking ANY of the rules but the hussy sitting two rows back is?)
I'm kind of ignorant of this "holiness" thing, but I never see it mentioned without the word "rules" also being mentioned? We are all comfortable with "rules" being another word for "laws?"

Naw, people don't really get busted (as in cuffed) for having pot, just dealing it.
And like I said in my example, the only reason many people get so giddy over holiness "rules" is because of the perverse pleasure experienced when you know YOUR following them but others close by are not. So, it really isn't "happiness" so much as delighting in someone else's misfortune.
At one time, I used to blame people for eating themselves to diabetes. However, now I blame the corn lobbyists for adding their poison (high fructose corn syrup) to so many of our everyday foods.
I also blame the American government for doing nothing about this poison in the face of scientific studies that show high fructose corn syrup to make humans insulin-resistant.
Alas! All this blaming has made me thirsty. I think I want some orange Hi-C.
You got that right JD.
Even diet drinks contribute to obesity. Aspartame has been known to actually cause people to be hungry. Same for MSG.
But HFCS...is deadly, imo. It is mainly composed of genetically modified corn. We are eating and drinking corn that has a pesticide gene inserted right into the seed.
***Most Americans remain blissfully unaware (or don’t care) they are eating genetically-modified (GM) organisms every day. Passivity and blind faith in the USDA, FDA and EPA have largely contributed to this attitude. Perhaps that will change now that a new study reveals an insecticide produced in GM corn actually gets absorbed into the human body.
If you haven’t been paying attention to your food lately, biotechnology giants such as Monsanto thank you for that. Because behind your back, they’ve succeeded in replacing 86% of US corn with their patented insecticide-producing “frankencorn”.
The industry name for this is “Bt corn” and the insecticide is actually produced inside the plant, so it is impossible to wash it off. This is accomplished by inserting genes from the bacteria Bacillus Thuringiensis into the corn.***
