Re: End Time Army of Women Preachers Psalms 68:11
It is offensive to suggest that a woman who loves Jesus Christ, walks in personal holiness and upholds the Word of God with integrity is influenced by a "spirit of Jezebel"--just because she is female! -
That is not right...just not right at all...

Re: End Time Army of Women Preachers Psalms 68:11
The fact of having a woman taught and prophesied shows that there women working in the ministry. If There can be false prophetesses then the fact remains that there are true prophetesses because the fake imitates the real!

It would be better to really know what the Bible says and what it means...In no sitting can a woman be subject to all men and in no sitting that I have ever been in a woman has not tought something in someway...

Yes, Sister Alvear, the Scriptures explicitly state women are not to teach-preach to men - You simply refuse to accept what the Bible says so you tamper with God's Word to make it say what YOU want it to say.
It's called rebellion to God !

No, that is not "the truth" & "the original" does not say that. In fact, it says EXACTLY the opposite - just as it is accurately translated in virtually every-single reputable translation.
Sigh.......

.......... God did not condemn her (Jezebel) for teaching, but rather, He condemned her for what she was teaching—“sexual immorality and the eating of food sacrificed to idols” (2:20).
She was rebuked for wrongful teaching…
not for the fact that she did teach in the Church
Jezebel was teaching Gnostic philosophy. She had in essence become a Gnostic leader. Once more, God gave “her time to repent of her immorality, but she was unwilling.” If it had been wrong for her to teach, one wonders why God did not say something about that. This testimony is also inferred evidence that women did take a public role in the preaching and teaching of God’s Word, otherwise she would not have been accepted as a public figure within the Christian community.

No Sister Alvear, It's not "inferred" that God's rebuke of Jezebel indicates He approves of "women-preachers" in the church - In fact, just he opposite is "inferred."
God had already stated His thoughts about so-called "women-preachers" in the church....There's no such thing (I Tim. 2.11-3.15; I Cor. 14.34).
Ho-Hum......

Yet you just used her shining example as supposed "evidence" that God approves of "women-preachers" in the church !?

That's the whole point - a "woman-preacher" does NOT "hold the word of God in 'integrity'." She is in direct & open defiance clear Scripture - Thus, the "Jezebel" charge (though I have never used that label personally).

Hmmm, apparently Paul did not receive the memo - He says not one-single thing about the "prophetess" in his detailed lists of NT ministry !
Besides, a "prophetess" is not an expositor of Scripture to men...Never has been & never will be !

Re: End Time Army of Women Preachers Psalms 68:11
Okay - I'm sick today - was up all night throwing up everything but the kitchen sink (for the first time in years) & have to preach tonight. Will be out of pocket for the rest of the day.
