Please read how to break quotes up into separate quote boxes instead of inserting them into the other person's post. It's confusing and it's impossible for them to quote you.

Re: End Time Army of Women Preachers Psalms 68:11
I'm sure this has been covered, but is the "silent in the church" command literal or not?

How so?

A very close, literal view disqualifies not only women but also single men from ministry. All the evangelists need to sit down and be quiet until they're married.

Exactly. Now, they not only delete our posts - but also want to tell us HOW to post !
Hmmmm, wonder if ultra-femi-nazi Roxanne's name-calling post (I.E., Chauvenists) will be deleted ?
Welcome to the wacky-world of AFF !

Which, being interpreted means - "I cannot adequately explain the passages which clearly forbid women from "teaching-preaching" in the church, so I'll tell everyone what it 'doesn't' mean (according to you) - But I cannot tell anyone what it 'DOES' mean."

Re: End Time Army of Women Preachers Psalms 68:11
rdp,
Admin members have been telling people how to post since the inception of this forum. Why are you having a problem with being asked to quote correctly? When you comment within quotes, it causes most of YOUR post to be lost when the next person tries to quote it and reply. It's a practical issue.
Contrary to what you obviously think, no one is picking on you.

It's duly noted that YOU didn't respond with an explanation either.
I'm just asking about consistency. If a literal view is taken, it must be applied consistently. Do you take the same stance on single men in the ministry that you do on women in the ministry? If not, why not?

Contrary to what you obviously think, there is nothing "improper" about my posting style. Pliny clearly demonstrated for you how to respond to our posting style (been posting this way for years & years) .

It makes it more difficult for people to reply and keep the quotes clean. You're mixing your comments in with other people's quotes, so when someone DOES take the time to copy and paste, they have to figure out which part of the post is yours and which part belongs to the other poster.
I love how you and Pliny are a team now, though... "our posting style?" LOL!!!!
The correct way to post in sections is to put a [quote=username ] and [/ quote] around each section you want to reply to (minus any spaces). That way when someone quotes YOUR post, all of your answers remain connected and can be appropriately replied.
If you've been quoting poorly for years and no one has ever asked you to do it differently, then that's just your good luck I guess.
