Are you saying the God would have a woman teach a child but not an adult? Are you serious? What in the world was God thinking when He made women judges over His people???

Yes, they are not to teach in the church. IF
1 Tim 2 refers to the home you have just expanded the silence to the home and she cannot obey the injunction of
1 Cor 14:35 by asking her husband at home. So know the prohibition does not just pertain to the church it involves the home, and she cannot express her opinion to her husband. Is that what you are inviting?
By the way ask is not simply form a question it is 1) to accost one with an enquiry, put a question to, enquiry of, ask, interrogate 2) to address one with a request or demand 2a) to ask of or demand of or Part of Speech: verb.
You might say that is quite strong of ask, it is the strength of such an opinion that would cause a woman to attempt to teach to begin with. Yes, it is that strength of opinion that exercises authority. just as we are witnessing on this thread, it would take place at church also. Just et someone get up and read
1 Cor 14:35 and
1 Tim 2:12 and give its definition BIBLICALLY, and most of the participating women on this form would violate both passages.
Women can teach younger women, can guide the home, cannot teach in the church or exercise authority over the man.
Tit 2:3 The aged women likewise, that they be in behaviour as becometh holiness, not false accusers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things;
Tit 2:4 That they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children,
1Tim 5:14 ..I will therefore that the younger women marry, bear children, guide the house, give none occasion to the adversary to speak reproachfully.
1Co 14:35 And if they will learn any thing, let them ask their husbands at home: for it is a shame for women to speak in the church.
1Ti 2:12 But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence.
Isa 3:12 As for my people, children are their oppressors, and women rule over them. O my people, they which lead thee cause thee to err, and destroy the way of thy paths.
Are you folks saying judges were the same as called preachers? That is like saying a president is the same as a Bishop.
Pro 21:1 The king's heart is in the hand of the LORD, as the rivers of water: he turneth it whithersoever he will.
Psa 75:6 For promotion cometh neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the south.
Psa 75:7 But God is the judge: he putteth down one, and setteth up another.
Want Sampson as your presbyter? He is in
Heb 11:32? God spoke to a man through a donkey, and it even spake with a man's voice, but it doesn't make him a man of God.
