My wife was a PK. Her dad didn't have a problem with going to movies, but a lot of people in the AofG did, back in the day. So, when the family went to a theater, it was a bit of a drive away from home.

Yes, it's a short read, but that wouldn't necessarily translate to being a short or boring movie. A producer can have their artistic license, as long as the foundation of the story doesn't change. That didn't happen here.

I read a long, detailed review complete with excerpts from the script over a year ago. I believe I even posted it here on another thread. Basically it's not the Biblical story at all. It's too long to list each inaccuracy, so to be concise, it's better to just say it's not the Bible story of Noah.

LOL! I meant in the sense of my presence showing that I endorse the film, not that I cared whether I was at a movie theatre. I do attend, occasionally, if something decent is showing, which isn't often. I think the last time I attended was to see.....I can't remember the last movie I saw at a theatre. I usually wait until I can order the movie on Amazon.

What percentage to you think will actually check the Bible for accuracy after hearing the uproar over the film?

[b]Frankly I would be more surprised if they had made a movie that actually remained true to the spirit of the story as the bible intended.

This is what they ARE. No shocker there at all[/b.]
Bingo. That's how I feel as well.

Any "Biblical" movie Hollywood makes, I expect to be riddled with errors and not true to the original story.

I'm not going to give money to the producers and film company. Not going to give them the satisfaction that they can create garbage and Christians will still watch it.

But I also won't judge others for watching it. If people want to spend their money watching this junk, that's their choice.

Ha! People are lazy, we know that!

I did get a notification from my Bible app, claiming the film company bought a full page ad in the NY Times, telling people to read the Bible's account of Noah.

Tried searching for it online, but couldn't find anything.

Does your second sentence contradict the first?

LOL! He was so ridiculous on Twitter over the Gun control issue, I am still referring to his hypocrisy. He is about as irrelevant, with his bodyguards, as Pierce Morgan. Glad to see Pierce has gone the way of the Dodo.

I didn't see anything on it either. And you are right, most people are lazy and/or don't care.
