However, does scripture make that delineation, in the context of the verse you quoted?

Don't be stoooopid. Of course the vows matter and in every wedding I seen, the vows come BEFORE the preacher makes the marriage statement. I hope some day if you ever perform a marriage ceremony that it pops in your mind, your hateful anti-preacher snide remark about "flaps is gums. Hogwash".

So if the preacher doesn't say, "In Jesus Name", is the marriage null and void?
What if the marriage occurs at the court house, with a judge that simply doesn't use the Name of Jesus at the end of the ceremony, after the exchange of the vows?
