VS: I don't have time today to respond to your post. However, in a nutshell it seems that your view of makeup is presented as a general matter of pride for women, and my view is presented that a woman wanting to look presentable can wear light makeup, and look presentable, and doesn't have to be a matter of pride.... anyway I guess you see things your way, and I see them mine.
