"Semitic" includes Jews AND Arabs. Why would I vote for an "anti-Semitic" president? How interesting that this group doesn't recognize the fact that Hamas was hiding weapons in all of these locations - not caring one bit about their citizenry. They lose credibility walking past that in their letter.
And you are right, Semitic includes Jews as well as Arabs. That was very plainly seen during WWII when the American Jews didn't want to aide their own people.
I believe I heard Mark Levin state that they were "sell outs" to their faith. That is probably true, but they don't walk around threatening to behead anyone who doesn't believe in their God.
Interestingly, a friend of mine was sharing their recent visit to Israel and noted, although not feeling threatened or unsafe, that the Palestinians were in every way more aggressive than the Jewish people.
