I believe that the penalties for adultery as outlined in the Quran apply. I believe we discussed this a long time ago? Maybe it was someone else. This is all running together.
At any rate, the Quran does not actually list adultery as a capital crime. Do your Muslim friends know this?
I would be highly amused to hear what your Muslim cohorts would say or reply if you were to ask them what is the penalty for adultery as outlined in the Quran THEN ask them if they even know where where the penalty of execution came from. Seems you have your thumb on the pulse of the unlearned masses. Even I want to play with that.
