So should we feel safe and secure in Jesus if what we teach about end times differs from the Apostles?
Can one be a deceiver and enter the Kingdom?
1Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him, 2That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand.
3Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; 4Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.
2 Thess 2:1-4
Here the apostles states that if anyone says Christ can come before the falling away and the man of sin be revealed he is deceiving us.
Is that person lost right now at the moment? All the pre tribs? All the Preterist types? Or would God by his Spirit try to influence them to turn from teaching error and come to truth?
Some say it does not matter what we believe about end times as long as we have done
Acts 2:38. Im ok with believing if one
ULTIMATELY rejects
Acts 2:38 they will be lost.
And yet how can we give a pass to those who teach against the truth of end times laid out by the Holy Spirit?
Remember Paul said...Let no man
DECEIVE you by any means......concerning this very subject!
