This is not true, most are paying taxes, even the illegals. They are paying billions into SS on fake numbers. If we don't get the borders closed and work thru the illegals to get them legal, after fines and taxes, it gets much worse.
The heart of the problem goes to abortion, abortion has killed a generation of children that would have filled the workplace and fed SS, without the immigrants we would not have enough workers to fuel the economy. The government has not enforced the laws for years, and because of the divisions in Washington they cannot get any reforms done. Same as in our foreign policy, too many agendas, lobbying by every special interest in the world.

Those studies usually ignore the all the extra people collecting SS and Medicare etc etc not to mention that if they become citizens they can bring their families over who will also be allowed to collect SS, Welfare and Medicare etc etc.
Also, what happens when they become legal and decide to join a union and demand higher pay and health benefits? The cycle starts all over again with looking for illegals to higher, who then will demand amnesty again
Paying taxes too does not decrease our over crowded schools

It's a double standards. We tell ALL the world to wait...come here legally and then we hand amnesty to millions of Mexican immigrants. What does that tell them about us or how serious we take laws? Our laws are subjective. We are no longer really republic. This trend is seen in activist judges too.
I have a roomie that came here from El Salvadore...LEGALLY! He had to wait of course for his time. Imagine how he feels finding out that he could have came here earlier and gotten on a faster path to citizenship that what he is doing now?

Then you and Daniel need to touch bases here. He is claiming study after study shows that amnesty will INCREASE Tax revenue...something is wrong with this picture.

Can we afford to stop illegals entering?
What happens when all those illegals become legals and demand more money and health benefits? Their employers will be looking for more illegals.
also if everyone that suppors illegals entering here from Mexico, would they support allowing a flood of illegals to enter here from the Phillipines and other such nations?

Ok so they ARE paying taxes? Earlier you argued amnesty would be good for us because they would pay taxes....why do we need to give them amnesty again?

NOT everything they do other Americans refuse to do. I would never pick strawberries but it was not too long ago that other Americans did construction and cooked and washed dishes and waited and did maid work. But because we have an influx of cheap labor those employers hire illegals and a lower wage
