Well, I never got to read past the third chapter of the book before I got laid off work last Monday. No fault of my own. Work was slow and they felt they could not justify keeping me, the last person who had been hired, 35 hours a week when things were as slow as they were. I left the book there on my desk and told her about my layoff. Kinda glad where the book is concerned because I really was not enjoying it. It felt like a bunch of confusion when I was reading it in the first place... and I trust my instincts. Instead of sitting at my desk reading that book, I've been at home taking care of things you can't do when you work and job hunting. Yuck. I hate job hunting... and the market is super slow right now.
