The context of being left behind in the bible means YOU BETTER BE LEFT BEHIND if you want to be saved. SINNERS are the ones NOT left behind.

Spots they are and blemishes, sporting themselves with their own deceivings while they feast with you;

Having eyes full of adultery, and that cannot cease from sin;

beguiling unstable souls:

Which have forsaken the right way, and are gone astray, following the way of Balaam the son of Bosor,

who loved the wages of unrighteousness;

the dumb ass speaking with man's voice forbad the madness of the prophet.

...said the man who thinks those who disagree with him are severely deceived. It's because I knew I needed to learn that I saw errors in your doctrine and left it years ago, and am still learning more and more. Something I doubt you can appreciate.

You hear something you were not taught, and respond like those in Thessalonica.

Acts 17:5 But the Jews which believed not, moved with envy, took unto them certain lewd fellows of the baser sort, and gathered a company, and set all the city on an uproar, and assaulted the house of Jason, and sought to bring them out to the people.

But people who accuse others of the very closed-mindedness they themselves hold are not as noble as others who check to see if the belief they were not taught might be true might by searching the scriptures instead of shutting it out.

Acts 17:11 These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.

Re: Replacement Theology Man Highlights

A letter to my fellow preterist, replacement theologians!

I have you this letter to inform you that some of us have had to be institutionalized because of increased hallucinations.

I feel we must address the issue before we proceed any further....

We have a special asylum for preterists that become deranged(to keep them from harming themselves and others), that we commit our dedicated preterists to, from time to time.

Folks, we may have to re-commit some of them that are right here on AFF, to the(IOCP) Instituion for "Out of Control" Preterists.

We are compelled to do this from time to time, when EXTREME flare ups of imaginary interpretations occur.(it is hard at this point to distinguish reality from fantasy).

Please be patient with our system, for we are a work in progress. It is very difficult to metaphorize the Bible, without becoming a metaphor ourselves.

Fellow preterists, the hallucinations we commonly have are very serious in nature.

These hallucinations cause us to read verses, blacking out the words and seeing other words in place of the blacked out words.

Futurists claim they have a very good remedy for treating this phenomenon, and say their success rates are very high.(they tell us to believe what we read as we see it, before our imagination overtakes us).

We have our own methods though, which still allows your imagination to run its' course without running wild, but, from time to time, we all seem to relapse back into our hallucinations.

Yours truly, Replacement Theology Man.

Re: Replacement Theology Man Highlights

This guy is talking about hallucinations and he adamantly believes that Jesus is returning with a literal doubled edged Roman sword coming out of His mouth?

Sean what about the woman having the man child, will she being giving birth while a dragon is literally poised waiting to eat the child. I know I asked you this in the eschatology section in the forum, but it seemed you were a tad unwillinging to answer me then. Sean, do you believe that their will be a literal woman seated on a literal dragon, and a literal lamb with seven eyes with its throat slit wide open? Sean, maybe you should really consider that what you excuse others of doing is what you do yourself it is called psychological projecting. It is caused when you see your own bad behavior in others, and excuse them of the same behavior.

Elder, some people are followers and some people are leaders. In Pentecost there are many who believe what they believe because the rest of the group calls it "Thus Saith the Lord." But if the heavy hitters in the group ever got a revelation and the next down level also complied. Then all the bottom feeders would get in lock step right behind without as much as saying boo devil boo. Some of these guys way back when couldn't even pronounce Preterism, never even heard the term eschatology. All they were ever told was Jesus is coming soon, and had (as you still see here) only a fragmented understanding of the Dispensationalism. But really, think about this, how many individuals you know who claim Dispensationalism and don't even agree with each other? I mean it is more flavors than Baskin and Robbins can whip up in a lifetime. Look at Sean, he believes that Jesus has a physical sword coming out of His mouth, but if Sean said that over a Dispensationalist's pulpit he would get his coat tail pulled and maybe over his head.

Sean, tell me the truth, you never even knew the word eschatology before you became a member on this forum?
