Your example said your wife came out of the balcony but was still in the church. But we're not told the city came out of anything other than heaven. The balcony is a part of the church. There's nothing about coming out of a part of heaven that is mentioned like the balcony. The city came out of heaven, period. If your wife came out of the church, she would not be in the church. The city came out of heaven so is not in heaven any more.
