It is an idiotic notion that we must simply trust in the Lord and do nothing to protect ourselves.
When I was in the Army, I had no problem praying and trusting in the Lord, yet I still carried my M16 and made sure that it and all my other equipment was operational.
Yes I trusted in the Lord, but I still was an Expert Marksman.
Abraham the father of the faithful (he is my spiritual father) armed 314 servants and with them and two other allied princes went to fight a war that liberated his nephew Lot.
If Abraham had a silly do nothing faith and leave it al to God, he would have just prayed and stayed in his tent and not risk his life and the lives of his servants in an attack against the invading army.

Great OT stories where they were still stabbing and slabbing. But, please produce all the New Testament examples of apostles and Jesus throwing down with the Judeans.
Had an old brother 92, in his kitchen with his young wife of 87, some creeps break into their apt while they were in bed. Dragged both of them out of bed looking for valuables. Brother Brian, told the guy this, silver and gold I have none, but what I have I will give it unto you. He began to pray and (I know some might not like this) but started speaking with tongues. His wife joined in and those crack heads left. Walked out, gone.

What i mostly don't get is how a people whose Book is entirely Law are able to practice so much Grace, while we who supposedly have Grace are the virtual givers of the Law in this world.

You've made some assertions about Christian terrorist groups, the latest nutty conspiracy and what not...you've been repeatedly asked for proof and offered nothing but more spin.

They're coming for you, Prax. You have a gun, right? See how dogs who are mostly all bark are presented to you as "terrorists"

i would look for terrorists among those who invented the word. If a robot plane with a bomb coming for you is not terrorism, then i don't know what is. The proof is right i front of you, not even obscured a little.

Re: Terrorist Attacks In Paris
the answers to your reactions are written in the Word; your worst nightmares will come true. Just think of the worst outcome possible, and expect it.

neither, but more to the point, i can expect a joke, apparently, whenever the truth is too plainly spoken. Pointing fingers is easy; it is self examination that is hard.
