Been wondering about the third shooter myself. Police claim witnesses were mistaken, but there were several witnesses who said there were 3 shooters.
Between the time the shooters left the scene and the time the police caught up with the couple, there was, IIRC, two hours of time where they could have dropped off the third shooter somewhere.
I'm also skeptical that there's not, as of yet, any security video mentioned or released.
Like the phantom shooter running into the woods at Sandy Hook, there are some gaps and questionable narratives here.
