Body Mass Index

What is your BMI according to this chart?

I'm considered as being in the healthy range although on a different chart I was on the borderline. I lost about 20 lbs a couple years ago and have been very happy! Although this winter I gained a few back and would like it back off.

Re: Body Mass Index

I don't agree with a BMI calculator, considering frame size varies from person to person. I have a large frame, and although I am 70 inches tall and weigh 173, I'm considered to be overweight. I was once 155 and you could see every rib, and I looked like an old woman. Gaining weight made me healthier, but I'm considered overweight.

I don't agree. Neither does anyone who knows me.

Yeah I think certain things about people should be considered. The BMI chart is just a general guideline.

Re: Body Mass Index

Well, I cant change my vote now, but according to the bmi calculator I am obese instead of just being overweight. (I am not too obese though)
