Shaz - seems like you are blaming others, so are they your scapegoat?

I'll play the game.
Who are you blaming?
Or was the post just the sound of the wind?

the only wind i've read here lately is discounting a meme that provides facts that can easily be checked. None of the posts after that make any sense to me; not saying that they don't to someone. There was no blaming in the meme, which I'm seeing now that no one is likely to address, except in a dismissive or joke manner, or with perplexing changes of subject. With all due respect, if you have a point, could you make it?

Let's try this again.

What did you mean by this post?

Re: Does Islam Inspire Terrorism?

i just meant to give a general answer to

(Their book says what their book says, but of the over ONE BILLION Muslims on earth at this moment, most of them do not interpret their scriptures to carry out their "mission" in the way of terrorists.)

Why more people don't see this, I just don't understand!

roughly meaning that guilty people generally first seek to shift the blame for their actions, and if in a superior position, employ divide and conquer techniques, Rep/Dem, whatever, to prevent consolidation and foster a false sense of superiority; those who feel they have "arrived" in the "right" herd tend to psychologically invest in and reinforce the status quo, and are not as likely to seek a higher plane. It's all in The Prince.

Stop reading Nikola Machiavelli and start reading your Bible.

Re: Does Islam Inspire Terrorism?

You know what, yes, a perverted view of Islam can inspire terrorism.

We have already seen in America today and in western history that a perverted view of Christianity can inspire terrorism.

In general, religion can inspire terrorism.

Politicians can inspire terrorism.

Football games can even inspire terrorism.

Individuals are responsible for their own actions. We shouldn't try to blame any of the above for the actions of deranged individuals.
